tesa® 51497 is a premium self-wound joining tape designed for sealing of all forms of vapour permeable wraps. It is based on a blended PET/PE woven fabric backing that allows for quick and clean hand tearability, while maintaining a high tensile strength that avoids splitting over long term applications.

The high-performance weather-resistant acrylic adhesive allows for aggressive and long term application in colder climates. Incorporating a linerless self-wound construction, users can expect up to 2x faster application when compared to traditional butly based flashing tapes.
