R2.7 wall insulation is the top performing batt for residential homes and commercial builds with standard 90mm stud spacings. It also has improved acoustic performance for theatre rooms, offices, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Fletcher Pink Sound Break R2.7

Our R2.7 wall batt is Fletcher Pink Sound Break, a high-density (24-26 kg/m³) glasswool batt that does two jobs in one: strong thermal performance and reduced sound transfer. In a standard stud wall it typically lifts the wall's acoustic rating to Rw 42, a 10-point improvement over an uninsulated wall, so loud speech is reduced to a murmur.

Where to use it

• External walls with standard 90mm studs
• Bedrooms, bathrooms, laundries and home offices
• Home theatres and walls between living areas
• Ceilings and between floors

Pink Batts are made in Melbourne and carry a lifetime warranty. See the full Sound Break range or all wall insulation.
