Price Beat Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a price beat, all of the following conditions must be met:

The product must be:

  • Identical to ours in brand, model, specification, R-value
  • Currently in stock and available for immediate purchase from the competitor
  • A new item (not secondhand, refurbished, ex-display, or clearance stock)

The competitor must be

  • An Australian-based, licensed retailer operating a legitimate retail website or location 
  • Not a marketplace seller (e.g. individual sellers on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Gumtree)
  • Not a trade-only, wholesale, or members-only supplier

The competitor's price must be

  • Clearly advertised and publicly visible at the time of the claim (screenshot or URL)
  • The total price inclusive of GST, including freight/delivery charges
  • Not the result of a pricing error, clearance, liquidation, or going-out-of-business sale
  • Not contingent on a membership, loyalty program, coupon code, or bundle deal


How to Make a Claim 

  1. Before checkout, simply complete the Price Beat Submission Form here.
  2. Our team will verify the claim (normally within 2-4 business hours) 
  3. If approved, we'll send you a discount code or adjusted invoice before you complete payment. 

Claims cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

 

Freight & Delivery Costs

Insulation products can vary significantly in delivery cost depending on location. Our price beat comparison is based on product price only. We will always strive to provide you with the most competitive total delivered pricing. 

Exclusions

  • Trade, contractor, or volume pricing not available to the general public
  • Products sold by unauthorised dealers or grey-market importers
  • Limited-time flash sales lasting less than 24 hours
  • Prices advertised in error or subsequently corrected by the competitor
  • Products where we have already applied a promotional discount, coupon, or special offer
  • Competitor quotes provided verbally or via private correspondence
  • International retailers or retailers without a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Products that are discontinued, end-of-line, or no longer available from the manufacturer

Approval & Discretion

We reserve the right to:

  • Verify all claims independently before approval
  • Decline a claim where we are unable to confirm the competitor's advertised price
  • Limit price beat claims to a reasonable quantity (e.g. one residential order)
  • Withdraw or modify this guarantee at any time without notice
  • Our decision on all price beat claims is final.

Changes to This Policy

We may update these terms at any time. The current version will always be published at melbourneinsualtiononline.com.au/price-beat-guarantee-terms-and-conditions. Your continued use of the Price Beat Guarantee constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
